~Hello~
Christine aims to provide quality piano and theory tuition at her Aspley (Brisbane, Australia) studio and currently online via Skype/ FaceTime.
She has completed an Associate in Music Australia (AmusA)(AMEB), a Bachelor of Music at the Queensland University of Technology (2014), a Master of Music Therapy at the University of Melbourne (2016), and completed her training as a Neurologic Music Therapist (2016). Christine was an Accredited Teaching Member (MMTA) and Secretary of the WA Music Teachers' Association (2017-2019). She presented at the West Australian Piano Pedagogy Conference on 'Approaches to teaching Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder' in 2018. She is currently a Professional member with the Queensland Music Teachers' Association.
All students learn differently, and have various musical goals and interests. With this understanding, Christine aims to use both Music Therapy and Piano- Teaching knowledge to provide individually- tailored lessons to children, adults, and individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Christine currently teaches students who learn piano for leisure, want to have performance opportunities and students who want to complete AMEB practical and theory examinations.
Christine ensure that lessons are always taught in a safe and friendly environment, and will always have an updated Blue Card and National Police Check Certificate.
